ITINERARY
The best value full day London tour includes a visit to WESTMINSTER ABBEY, the main church of the Royals for weddings and funerals since 1066. After our visit we journey up the Mall to see the sights and sounds of the CHANGING OF THE GUARDS at Buckingham Palace. Our journey around the West End will take us past many of the famous sights, including Trafalgar Square, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus and Harrods, before we rest and gather our strength with a hearty PUB LUNCH.

After lunch, we continue our tour through the City of London, and see ST.PAULS CATHEDRAL, Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece. The Cathedral lies in the heart of the Londons financial centre, where we are guided past such sites as the Stock Exchange, Bank of England, Lloyds of London, The Monument, Mansion House (the home of the Lord Mayor of London), to name but a few. We then move on to the TOWER OF LONDON - the home of the Beefeaters and the CROWN JEWELS. The tower in its 900 years of history has served as a Fortress, Royal Palace and Prison and as the main gateway to the River Thames, where we take a well earned break on our restful cruise. ITINERARY
We travel west of London to visit the fine Georgian town of Bath. Our tour includes a visit to the famous Roman Baths & Pump Room where fashionable society used to take "The Cure" for their ailments.

There is time for shopping, browsing and walking around this most famous of Georgian Towns as well as seeing Bath Abbey. There is time for lunch before we re-join our coach tour of Bath including John Nash's Royal Crescent. We then continue by coach to STONEHENGE - there is over 4,000 years of history since these massive monolithic stones were brought to this ancient religious site. We can breathe in the atmosphere and wonder at the reason behind their formation.

ITINERARY
We leave London to the South East passing through the historic town of Greenwich en route to LEEDS CASTLE. Set in beautiful gardens, the castle is built on two small islands in a lake. Originating from 857 and re-built by the Normans in 1119, it now houses a superb collection of impressionist paintings, furniture and tapestries. Certainly it aspires to the claim as "the most beautiful castle in the world".

CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL - the home of the Anglican Church. Founded in 597, by St.Augustine it is famous for the murder of Thomas a Becket in 1170 by the Knights of Henry II.

THE WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER - famous for its great stretch of white chalk cliffs, we will make a short photo stop where on a clear day the coast of France can be seen.

OXFORD - A seat of learning for over 800 years. After departing at 08.30hr, our stop includes a visit to an OXFORD COLLEGE to hear about its history and traditions and a veritable who's who of famous persons.     ITINERARY
    WINDSOR CASTLE - William the Conqueror started to build this most impressive Royal Residence over 900 years ago and today 9 centuries later it is still one of the Official Residences of the Queen. We see the recently re-opened State Apartments*, damaged after fire, containing masterpieces by Rubens, Van Dyck and Canaletto.

    HAMPTON COURT PALACE - built by Cardinal Wolsey it was given to Henry VIII. In the state apartments we see one of the finest collections of tapestries and paintings in Europe. There is time to see the Sunken Gardens, featuring England's oldest tennis court and the notorious Maze.

    CRUISE ON THE RIVER - at Hampton Court we board a Thames Cruiser to enjoy a slow meander along the River Thames. We disembark at Kingston-upon-Thames where we re-board our coach for the journey back to London.

    ITINERARY
    Cotswolds - the countryside and mellow honey coloured stone buildings of the Cotswolds are so beautiful we have arranged an entire day there. First to the village of Burford deep in the Cotswolds. We have time to see its quaint old church or wander through the picturesque village. On leaving Burford we will visit Taynton and walk through this pretty village to admire the gardens. We then drive on through some of the Cotswold's most attractive villages before arriving at Bourton on Water.
    There is time to explore Bourton on Water which has a stream rumming alongside the main street. Our scenic drive takes on to Broadway where we can amble along its main thoroughfare, browsing in its many shops.
    On leaving Broadway we will continue through some stunning countryside, and stop for afternoon tea at Blenheim Palace, Birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill where we see the gardens.

    Windsor - Our first stop will be Windsor Castle. This impressive royal castle was built, occupied and loved by the royal family. We see the ceremony of Changing of the Guard* and visit the restored State Apartments. Highlights include the Waterloo Chamber, St. George's Chapel and the Van Dyck room.

    Our second stop is in Salisbury which has the only cathedral built to a single medieval architectural design. Built on a grand scale, it has the tallest spire in Britain at 404ft. The north aisle of the nave also contains the world's oldest clock.

    Our last stop is Stonehenge, Britain's most ancient monument whose construction commenced over 4,000 years ago. The circle of Stones, was quarried, carved and lifted into position by the ancient Britons. Return approximate 18.45
